Rhodes shot their 2nd consecutive 301 to stand in 9th place out of 27 teams in the Jekyll Island Collegiate being contested on the Pine Lake Course at Jekyll Island, Georgia.  Shay Womack led the Lynx with a 2 over 74 and Doug Gordon posted a 75.  

"We're four shots out of 5th place and 12 shots out of the top three.  We just need for one of our players to go low on Sunday," said Bill Cochran, Rhodes head coach.  "Our team is really playing consistent, which is encouraging as we gear up towards the SCAC tournament and a NCAA tournament bid on the line"

Methodist University, the #1 team in the country, leads the tournament with a 2 under par 574 total (291-283).   The individual leader is Trey Bridwell from Maryville (TN) who shot 68-72 (140).
