Men's Team Opens Season at Sewanee Invitational

    The men's team had a successful day at the Sewanee Invitational by finishing fourth out of eleven teams.  Mississippi State won the meet with 24 points followed by Emory with 50 points and Georgia State with 113 points. 
     The Lynx were lead by junior Chris Moore who finished 18th in a time of 27:24.65.  He was followed by sophomore Cody Beatty who finished in 27th place with a time of 27:43.37.  Rounding out the scoring were sophomores Will Hawes, Evan Nelsen, and freshman Matt Miller.  Their times of 28:11.91, 28:13.73, and 28:38.10 were good for 33rd, 34th, and 42nd respectively. 
     On September 19th, the men's team will head to Nashville, TN for the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University.  The 8k race will begin at 9:00 AM at Percy Warner Park.
