After a couple days worth of rainstorms, the course at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, TN was a bit muddy and had areas of standing water.  Even with this added hurdle, the men's team was able to place 5th out of 16 teams.  Sophomore Cody Beatty lead the men's team with a 12th place finish in a race of 170 participants.  His time of 27:05 is the best by a Lynx harrier this year.
     Right behind Beatty were junior Chirs Moore in 19th place, sophomore Will Hawes in 36th place, sophomore Evan Nelsen in 47th place, junior Robert Mcmillan in 65th place, freshman Chris Hardy in 66th place, and freshman Matt Miller in 72nd place.  The coaching staff was very pleased with the men's race as many of the runners went out conservatively and were able to move up throughout the race.
     Next week the Lynx harriers will host their only home meet of the year at Shelby Farms.  Please join us out at Shelby Farms at 9:30 AM for the women's race and 10:10 AM for the men's race.
