Freshman Parker Tenent Jr. wins SAA Men's Golf Athlete of the Week after delivering a standout performance at the West Pines Collegiate (Oct. 6–7, 2025) in Douglasville, Georgia, helping Rhodes College capture the team title at 6-under par. Competing on a challenging West Pines Golf Club layout, Tenent opened the tournament with a blistering 5-under 66, highlighted by eight birdies and matching 33s on the front and back nines to sit near the top of the leaderboard. He followed with a steady even-par 71 in Round 2 and closed strong with a 1-under 70 in the final round to finish at 6-under 207, securing 2nd place individually and earning All-Tournament Team honors. The Memphis native and Westminster Academy product demonstrated impressive consistency and maturity for a freshman, recording 15 birdies across three rounds and ranking among the event's top scorers in par-3 and par-4 scoring.
