Prior to the National Golf Coaches Association banquet, team Mingos gathered in front of the Mission Inn and Resort for a group shot.  Standing from L to R:  Steve and Maria Mingos (Dad and Mom), Stephanie, Kristina Mingos (sister), Nicole Jones (2010 Co-Captain), Nancy and Coach Clary.

At the banquet Stephanie was selected to the NGCA All Great Lakes team, as well as to the Honorable Mention All American team.  "After suffering a severe back injury in the fall and not playing golf from September 15-December 15, for Stephanie to be sitting in 8th place in the NCAA tournament and be contending for the national championship is truly amazing," said Coach Clary.

The El Campeon course at the Mission Inn and Resort is offering plenty of challenge to the top Division III players in the country as the best 2nd round score was a +4 - 77.   Stephanie Mingos shot an 83 in the 2nd round to stand 7 strokes off the lead.  She is tied for 8th out of 106 players.

"Stephanie had a couple of bad breaks which which pushed her score into the 80's," said Lynx coach Mike Clary.  "She's been great though in keeping her composure and bouncing back to play steady golf."

"Stephanie hasn't played her best golf yet, so she's excited about teeing it up in the 3rd round," said Coach Clary.
