Robinsonville, MS ~ The Rhodes Lynx Men's Golf team stands tied for seventh place after the first round of competition at Tunica National Golf Course.  Southwestern University leads the 20 team field with a first day score of 283.

Rhodes shot a first day total of 296, thirteen strokes behind the leaders.  Rhodes was lead by Farrell Diliberto's 72.  Bill Bazzell and Shay Womack each shot a 74.  Closing out the scoring for Rhodes were Scott Wallace and Doug Gordan, who each shot a respectable 76.
