The women's cross country team traveled to Hanover, IN this weekend to compete in the Division III Pre-Nationals Meet.  The field of teams was full of nationally ranked teams and top runners from around the country.  The race was extended on the women's side to six kilometers because at the NCAA Championships they will race that distance.

The top finishers for the women were Taylor Stephens (FR)  in 21:51, Cybil Covic (JR) in 22:52, Melissa DeFabrizio (JR) in 24:29, and Caroline Webster (FR) in 24:30.  The women beat some tough competition finishing 5th out of 16 teams.

The women will travel to Oshkosh, WI on October 18th to run in the UW-Oshkosh Invitaional.
